The systems are normally supplied with two outlets; one main outlet at 0,2 barg + one secondary stream at 8-10 barg for purging and stripping applications.
The NC-3 is normally selected for systems to act as full inert gas system according to the IMO resolution and ships sizes are usually exceeding 20.000DWT. This require the inert gas systems to meet the 125% IMO requirement. (inert gas capacity is to be 125% of cargo pups maximum discharge capacity).
