The NC-1.1 model cover the smaller nitrogen capacities, typically 10 - 420m3/h at 95%N2 purity. The flexible design also allows for higher purities up to 99,9% nitrogen for special applications. The same unit is also used for high redundancy installations such as LNG carrier nitrogen generator systems.
The NC-1.1 is a highly efficient and compact design unit, providing easy installation in narrow spaces onboard. The system can be equipped with dedicated feed air compressors, or alternatively, be hooked up to an existing service air system onboard.
As for all Air Products Norway's shipboard nitrogen systems, the NC-1 incorporates the highly efficient and durable Prism® membrane separator. This separator is unique due to its combination of physical strength and tolerance to hydrocarbon vapour, without compromising on separation efficiency. Beyond considerable lower maintenance cost compared to other available systems, these factors will guarantee a sound investment throughout decades of operation.
The NC-1.1 is type approved by DNV.
